Game God Of War?

Question

I got the game God Of War for my son but I did not know that it was very bloody. Someone told me that I can turn down the level of blood at the options of the game. Is that true? Could you tell me how to do it? It is a good game?

Try looking at the ratings on games before you buy them. M means Mature, and it's on there for a reason.

How old is your son? I don’t think turning the blood level down is going to take away from the violence of this game. I didn’t know you could turn down the gore level, but if you can it would be under the options menu.

God of War is a great game, one of the best imo. There is also a God of War 2.

Blood or no blood, this game is violent. For a good deal of the enemies in the game, you can finish them off by ripping off their heads (medusa), ripping out the giant cyclops' eye, or running your blade through a minotaur's heart, etc. That said, whether there's red goo all over the place while this is happening probably doesn't make a difference.

With THAT said, this game is probably one of the best if not THE best game for the PS2. It was rated at ign as a 9.8/10.

God of War is pretty much one of the sweetest games ever. I think the best game though is Resident Evil 4. I really want a ps3 for the seconds one, but i dont 600 dollar want it.

Why would you want to do that? The gratituitous violence in that game is what makes it so great!

Well even if you do that. There is a few scenes with girls that are topless. Don't know if you want your son seeing that.
