I'm talking about REAL citizens!!

According to the latest Census Bureau figures, 43.6 percent of non-citizens in the U.S. are without health insurance. In addition, 33.6 percent of those born elsewhere are without coverage.

By contrast, only 13.4 percent of native-born Americans are without health insurance. And 17.9 percent of naturalized citizens are without coverage.

The statistics will be no surprise to health-care providers. Hospital emergency rooms in Florida and California have been forced to close their doors as a result of increased demands by uninsured and under-insured patients – many of them illegal aliens.

What I'm getting at people is that proponents of a Socialized health care system always use the #s of people with out insurance. Their #s are skewed....

well... there is the fact that 50% of the population has below average intelligence...

However I have no sympathy for the illegal aliens who don't have health insurance. They don't belong in the US... we shouldn't subsidize them by giving them free health care.

so.. since the majority of people who don't have insurance seem to be illegal aliens... I don't see a problem with the health care system.

And most of those 13.4 percent of native-born Americans are 20 somethings who are just getting aboard the career ladder so either their health care options haven't kicked in YET or they have opted out of them. There are a number of mid 20s guys in my company that have opted to ignore health insurance for a couple of years simply because they aren't worried about it.

I didn't have it for most of my 20s for several different reasons but I was never sick anyway so it never bothered me even though I had some reasonably high risk of injury jobs. When I settled down in a more permanent job and got married, then I started taking it more seriously.

Please see "Sicko". As Michael Moore says at the start of his film, it is NOT about people who do not have health insurance, but about people who DO, and how their insurance companies screw them. Insurance companies have every possible economic incentive NOT to pay claims. This is bad enough when you are dealing with a car claim, but you can live without a car, you can work around the problem. This is not so if you need an operation and your insurance company refuses to pay--which happens all the time.

Senator Hillary Clinton's health care plan was killed by public pressure created by a series of very fine ads crafted by the health insurance industry in the most expensive advertising campaign ever created. Which policy holders paid for, of course. There were two stars, a man and a woman, who acted the part of pathetic sick people who could not get health care because of socialized medicine. The ads worked. Fortunately, the actor who played the man in that series of ads got a serious disease and his insurance company refused to pay for his treatment so he died. ha ha. You might be looking at the same fate. THINK for Christ's sake!

NO SOCIALISM! It shouldn't, any more than losing a vote gives you the right to toss the game board (undermine the country, undermine our representatives, etc.).

Democrat, old style, here.

Sorry I can't be more help, guys, girls. I'm overrun here!

The government wants to kill the middle class and the easiest way to do that is to bankrupt them. Our own government doesn't care about us anymore and it is only getting worse each day. They lie, cheat, steal and murder to get what they want and that is the one world order.
