FDR talked concerning to the Civil conflict as "The 4 3 hundred and sixty 5 days conflict between the States". Does that count extensive style as one? there replaced into the conflict of Northern Aggression AND conflict of Southern Aggression --- so there is one greater one. Walt Whitman talked approximately because it the "conflict of tried Secession" --- I took a classification on Whitman in school so I keep in mind that one. Does that count extensive style as one? the 2nd American Revolution. The Brothers’ conflict or The conflict between Blue and grey. The conflict against Slavery. The misplaced reason, ---- i comprehend that one for obtrusive motives. there's a e book written interior the term suggested numerous instances via Shelby Foote in his nicely-cherished Civil conflict sequence talked approximately as, "A history of the great revolt", yet i do no longer comprehend who wrote it. that's it for me and to be straightforward, i did no longer arise with some the different answerers did. Although there was a lot of honor in the men who fought for the Confederacy I haven't seen anyone holding on to the issue.

Having said that the only people who have fought the US Federal Government and lost, appear to be North Americans. i.e. American Indians, United States of Mexico and Confederate States.

Others, like Japan and Germanyh, receive aid to recover the loss of war. We also don't help allies. That's why Britain was still on war ration stamps in the early fifties.
