i know that they will exchange it if it's more than half. mine is exactly slpit right down the middle. i only have the one side. i have the side that has the serial number if that matters.

no, i used to be a bank teller. you need the serial number from both halves to be able to exchange it. they will let you turn it in.

If u tell them how it happened and don't lie about it they will believe you plus they have 2 give you the money bak its the law!!!
Just go to the bank and tell them that your $20 got ripped in half or whatever happened 2 it.
Does'nt matter they have 2 let u exchange it anyway Law!!

You need to have at least 75% of the bill in order to exchange it. They will not exchange half.

I don't think they will change it for a new one...unless you have both pieces. Because it doesn't work that way.You could always try and see what happens.

they're not that stupid at the bank to change it.
You might turn the other day to change the second half.
