I'm having troubles with Internet Explorer. I've heard of others here with similar problems. My taskbar and start button on bottom of screen are missing. My Yahoo and Google toolbars on top of the screen are missing. The Explorer toolbar on top of screen only appears when I roll over it with the mouse. I'm running McAfee Security Center, allegedly with virus protection, spamkiller, firewall, all turned on and running. I've done 2 virus scans and McAfee found nothing. Any ideas, input, advice, would be appreciated.

You are in full screen mode. Press F11, its part of Internet explorer so there's no need to worry! its no virus!

MOve your mouse to the bottom of the screen, if you see an arrow click and drag the mouse up, that'll sort the start bar hopeully.

As for the toolbars, open IE and click on view at the top, then choose toolbars and check google or yahoo toolbar if they are there.

Also download and run aware 2007, it'll sort any potential adware probs

Good luck

Use Avast:

AVAST ANTIVIRUS rocks i used many antivirus till now both free and paid but nothing comes as beneficial as AVAST
1) Far from resource killing
2) Inbuilt Spy and Ad ware remover.
3) Daily update
4) Free home registeration key.

Try using AVG software, it's really good, and it's available for free online. I had a nasty virus earlier this year, and AVG was the one that got rid of it for me where others had failed. Hope you get it fixed soon!
