Your best bet is to start by looking at a list of hotels in and around Warsaw:

You can read about each hotel, view pictures, & check rates/book online.

Good luck!

First thing is - within walking distance to what place in Warsaw? Warsaw is about thirty miles long along the river and about twenty - across. So 2 or 3 miles still keep you inside Warsaw downtown - you have to travel much more than that, to leave the city.
About fifty miles to north-east, there is the Zegrze artificial lake with various types of hotels on its beaches. Look up such place names as Nieporęt, Zegrze, Pomiechówek, Rynia. Or Serock and Pułtusk on the river feeding the lake. This is the nicest place around Warsaw.

thousands of places and a whole range of prices. Quality ranges from the extremely luxurious to worker's hostels.

If you need easy access to the city then look along the main railway lines and access roads- Warsaw is rather big so I would suggest rail, bus or tramway instead of walking

try a web search. this link
http://www.e-rezerwacja.pl/
is in Polish but it provides prices (1 US$ = 3 PLN, approx) and the city name Warszawa is Warsaw. All the hotels have english speaking personnel and web sites

this
www.gtahotels.com
is in English and should be easy enough to navigate.

If price is not your concern, just Google Marriott ;-)))
