I say they should ban him for life if he did what they said in the indictment. He displayed his true colors when he gave his own fans the finger after a game last year. I decided to boycott and NFL games Atlanta is in this year until he is gone.

If proven guilty then yes he should be suspended, assuming he doesn't go to jail. A lifetime ban? That may happen with this commisioner, but I don't know. Look at Leonard Little, several years ago he was drunk and killed a lady in a car crash....a crime 100 times worse then what Vick is accused of...and he only got a wrist slap. He even still played in the same city after the accident. What amazes me is the outcry over that crime was way less then the outcry over the accusations against Vick, very serious accusations...yet hardly equal to killing somebody's wife and mother. I think guilty or not Vick'll be suspended, though I'm willing to bet it'll be a year or 2 and not life time, though if he gets 6 years in jail that'll effectively end his career...assuming that 6 years doesn't go by the same calander that measured Paris Hilton's jail time.

Give them time. The indictment just came down yesterday. He will get suspended soon. Federal Grand Juries do not hand down indictments over flimsy evidence, especially in a high profile case. Vick claims that it was "relatives who took advantage of his generosity" who used his farm for the breeding, training and fighting. Sorry, but Vick is no farmer, and he bought that place for one specific purpose. The evidence they have, including specific dates over the past 5 - 6 years, is overwhelming! He will plea bargain this out, but he will get suspended or banned. Besides, the Falcons were already considering moving him out of the QB role. They can't win with him as a QB.

Dude is an idiot....You have a multi-million dollar contract to play football and think that you need other business ventures. Maybe pursuing other ventures is ok but, you should probably go legit and not try to "get your hustle on" when your already making millions. What a DUMBA$$!!!!! I cant believe the millions of dollars these pro athletes recieve is not enough motivation to stay out of trouble. I leave you with this quote. You can take the brother out of the hood, but you cant take the hood out of the brother. Very Sad that some people are that STUPID!!!!!!! ie. Pacman Jones, Mike Vick, Tank Johnson, Gary Sheffield, Chris Henry, Rae Carruth, Ron Artest,

If he is found guilty, I'm sure he will see a suspension of some sort (bring in Joey Harrington lol.... sorry atlanta fans). A ban for life would be a bit extreme. A full season would be the worst that would happen. The finger incident actually is not an uncommon occurrance amoung quarterbacks.... right Jake Plummer?

he should be in jail for the stuff that he has done, nevermind suspended. Guy trained dogs (man's best friend) to fight each other. He had machines such as treadmills to get the dogs in shape to fight each other? This is rude. I can not see the court system letting him get away with out jail time. The maximum sentence is 6 years, I hope he gets 1 or 2 in the slammer.

Michael Vick should be put in prison, not just banned from the NFL.

I am sure he will. Maybe not all year though. The legal process is slow so I am sure his lawers will delay things as much as possible and he would likley not be tried until after the season. Since I have not heard of him having any priors then he is probably fine. Whether Blank will want to keep him is another story.

There will always be people(like you) who hate on certain players and stick up for others, that's normal.
I say, you can't even suspend him for any games as of yet. He's only indicted, not "convicted" of anything yet. If they supposedly have pictures why did it take SO long for them to indict him? That's my only problem with this whole thing. Why did it and is it taking SO long? If you know someone did something and you supposedly have evidence, use it on your behalf!! Don't threaten to use it.
Anyway, yes I agree 100% he has to be suspended if they find him guilty of being involved. But will they? That's my question.

He's such a great quarterback and a big plus for the NFL, I can't see him being banned for life. Given the Barry Bonds ordeal, the Vicks situation is mild compared to that.
