My girlfriend's periods are something that I have learned to hide from. In the early days I'd be in the line of fire and get in more trouble with her than usual. These days I just find excuses to be gone when she's having one of those moody days. I try to empathize, but it's difficult, because there is no rationale; it's something she can't control. I asked her once when she was on her period:
Me: "Do you think I should go out and give you some space for a while?"
Her: "YES! I THINK THAT WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA!"
Me: "Okay...."
So that's what I do. :)

Well I feel that I dont get moody during or around my period...but my boyfriend says I do. haha :) Regardless, Im a woman and lucky enough that I have a boyfriend who overlooks my mood swings, period or not, untill I get over it (just takes a few minutes) He gets all credit for not letting a simple mood swing esculate into a full blown argument.
This is a man that understands a woman!!

Whether I want it to or not, the fact remains that it does control my moods, a woman has a lot of hormonal changes going on during that time... I wish you could go through it so you would understand how we feel....If you did, I bet a lot of you men would shut your mouths about something you know nothing about..

Try not to, but cannot fight it. I dont get it badly but I get upset a lot more than usual. End up crying over nothing - but know its just hormones...I dont BLAME my period for this; however its just part of being a woman.
