I watched saw but not the other one. They don't do anything for me but there are some serious sicko's out there. I wouldn't say that they are worst. It seems like there is a market out there for this crap which in miy mind just gives people idea's. I would rather not see them.

I think that those movies are cool and awsome and people watch that shi t cause they feel like it, if you don't like those types of movies you can either turn that TV off or close your eyes, these movies can prepare you if anything so that when something bad happens to you or anyone else you and them don't panic at all and stuff like that, also it kind of entertaining on how you can see the both physical and emotional traps in all the saw movies and also the most physical traps in the Hostel movies, in the Hostel movie it was more physical threat due to the fact that these group of guys wanted to get layed and they ended up bumping into the wrong type of people ( I just typed that so that it wouldn't be a spoiler to anyone who hsen't seen the movie yet please don't take it seriously) but its can also be used as a way to tell you what to do in that type of situation and sometimes you should look at that, they also show you what happens in real life although you don't always hear about it in the news I'll grant you that but it does happen.

I have never seen Hostel, but Saw was a decnet movie. While Saw did have its share of blood and gore, horror films need to get back to being psycholoigal thrillers and not just half naked girls running away from serial killers.

Kudos to the makers of Saw for a chilling horror flick!!

In my mind, I know that if people didn't flock to see them, they wouldn't continue to make them. Cut off the flow of money and the support to make the movie story goes away.

So is the movie sick, or the fact that people go to see them the sick thing about it.

I don't mind a good horror, thriller movie but I really tend to like my monsters more along the supernatural type.

Some people just cant get enough shock, and besides, the more immune we are to it, the less well react to bad things happening around us. "desensitizing". Makes corporations get away with more, better for business.

saw was bad....but i would have to say hostel is way more gruesome!

and i don't know why people watch them over and over....i have seen all of them more then once......and it is because someone else wants to watch them and wants me to watch it with them...

i would never be like "hey i want to watch bloody, gruesome stuff" when i am all by myself!

but yeah they are gross!

Personally, I found them to be very entertaining. Also, there is a moral to the stories: don't do bad things, or bad things will come back to kick you in the butt.

It is fascinating, people like to see what they can not normally see, but yes you do have to have a big stomach for them. Don't watch them if you don't like them.
