Personally , I think the Terrorists own the most responsibility , but there's no doubt that Liberal Democrat Congressional members will also own some of that responsibility . They've done everything possible to complain about the Presidents plans and efforts , yet even though they control the House and the Senate , yet they have no comprehensive plan of their own . Al Queda is operating in 80 countries . Yet the Democrats think that passing non-binding resolutions is somehow a productive way of stopping Al Queda . Toss-in a filibuster that's going nowhere too .

Honestly folks. . . . . How could you vote for someone who has No Comprehensive Plan ? Really , I really want to know how Hatred for the President qualifies as a 'Plan' ?

Can I ask you folks to look-up the definition of 'comprehensive' ? Thanks , because if you knew what that meant , then you'd understand the question and perhaps 1 or 2 of you would be capable of answering intelligently .
And btw , I agree that the President's plan and plans have been flawed. .... .and so is EVERYONE . But he has earned credit for trying and the unswayable effort . The Democrats on the other hand , deserve nothing , no credit for anything . They haven't proposed even 1 Comprehensive Plan for victory. . . only withdrawal . Withdrawal would be nice , but not without a Comprehensive Plan .

Well, the Democrats seem to be doing everything they can to encourage such an attack, so they would certainly share the blame. As for dividing blame between terrorists & Democrats, that's like talking about how much of your money is in your right pocket as opposed to your left.

Terrorists plan and simple. I agree that Democrats by and large have not presented comprehensive plans for fighting terrorism or protecting the homeland in general. In fact when the question is asked, if they answer at all it is evasive and lacking substance. However, I have to ask what are Republicans doing. The greatest threat to our country exists because of lax immigration laws and a porous border. What have the Republicans done in this area. The answer is not much. Sure they defeated the immigration bill, which was a good thing, but they have shown no real interest in comprehensively addressing the issue as a whole with commonsense legislation. The closest thing we got was the House bill in the last Congress which the Senate dismantled and rewrote into absolute garbage.

The honest truth that many do not seem to want to face is this. There is no real effective way to deal with terrorism. The only way to eliminate it would be to remove the root causes. This is not going to happen because ultimately it is rooted in religious ideology and that is a strong motivator. Barring elimination we are left with combating it. The only way to effectively combat it is to eliminate most of the freedoms we hold dear. Security is an illusion. The sad fact is that no matter who is in power most of what we are going to do regarding terrorism is react and often it will be after the fact. Given this reality what I am going to do is simply live my life.

OK let me get this right. the Democrats have had just SOME control for 6 MONTHS and none of it concerning military policy which is in the hands of the president, and they are the reason that AL-queda is operating in 80 countries? What was happening the previous 6 years when the Republicans had the Whitehouse and congress? Oh, yes, I remember. We invaded a country that did not harbor al-queda and had no capacity to threaten us while we let al-queda rebuild, re-group, and re-deploy from Pakistan and Afghanistan. I think the responsibility is clear here.

No Comprehensive Plan? hell the public already vote bush into office again and he still doesn't have a comprehensive plan. as for your liberal democrat congress look at Murtha who had a comprehensive plan and he was ridiculed and called a coward. (just saying). Dude, and if i may say you sound a little crazy when you start a question with "will Liberal Democrat" try asking the question a different way and you may get better answers. i mean we've tried crazy, maybe we can try sane for once. if there is another terrorist attack on American soil we have no one to blame but our selves.

Did you allow out the information those days. each and every physique could understand by way of understand that the anthrax used for the 2001 assaults got here from the government. Even the one you love Fox information admitted that one.

Do you know why Al Qaeda is in 80 countries now, or why they have more members now than before Iraq?

It's because of George Bush and the Republican party, and their ill choice in going into a country that wasn't a threat and letting the Al Qaeda in Afghanastan off.

To say they don't have a plan is pure foolishness. They will continue to fund the CIA and FBI and homeland security. They will try and repair our reputation with the world because the current administration has made the U.S. the most hated nation in the world.

This attack happened while Republicans were firmly in power, the growth of Al Qaeda happened during their reign too. Al Qaeda has new branches in countries that were our allies until Bush alienated them.

The Republican plan of peace through failure and self destruction doesn't seem to be working. I'll take a chance on Diplomacy and regaining the respect of the world.

Absolutely not. Republicans are the ones who don't understand the War on Terror. They think Iraq is the central front. Clearly Pakistan is the central front as you can see the Taliban and Al Queda making moves there. And we're wasting time, energy, and man power in Iraq. A massive distraction that was never involved with Al Queda.

All Al Queda needs is time. Time to find a little crack and expose the weakness. Had it been up to a DEM, Al Queda, and the Taliban would have been surrounded and destroyed a long time ago.

No, Bush and the REP party have given Al Queda SIX YEARS to reconstitute. Just what they wanted. And SIX YEARS worth of anti US propaganda to fuel their ideology.

The Bush Administration is a massive failure when it comes to terrorism.

The government right now just seems to have major issues. You call the Democratic Congressmen, by the way there are many women in there too, liberal, but that term doesn't always strictly follow party lines. Bottom line is the Congress needs to do more and so does the President.

Liberal Democrats will be no more responsible for it than their Conservative Republican counterparts. Your argument is pretty weak. It assumes that somehow the other side DOES have a plan. What plan? You say yourself that Al Quaeda is operating in 80 countries. So what the hell is Bush wasting all our money, soldiers, and resources in Iraq... one of the countries where, before the war, Al Quaeda was NOT operating!? I don't argue that the Democrats have ideas, but you give the Republicans too much credit. Like they say, the Democrats are a party of no ideas, and the Republicans are a party of bad ideas. So in answer to your initial question, if another terror attack happens on our soil, it will be ALL of their fault... and ours, too, for voting the idiots there in the first place. That doubly goes for Bush and his retarded war.

Wow do you really need to ask such a question? What seems top be our nations problem is not only our problem. So by your questioning then Liberals are also responcible when terrorist attact other countries. Really get of the label of liberals and look at the problem for what it is. Conflict is two sides believing they both are right. When in reality both are chosing unhealthy ways to reslove a problem.
