A priest in Our Lady of St George Church in Pennilee Glasgow was found lying on the floor of the Church naked and surrounded by sex toy's. When questioned by police he stated "It's MY Church" and I can do as I please. This is an example of what you're Church officials think of your religion. The question is:::: Do you think that the religious community needs to get it right and put these people through a psych evaluation before theylet them into the community.?

They already know. Psychiatric evaluation isn't always accurate. Celibacy is not a 'natural' state for anyone male or female and religions that impose it on their followers will always have this problem.
In this case, it wasn't what he was doing, it was where he was doing it and his insistence that it was his right to do what he wanted there! In the privacy of his home yes! Nothing too unusual about playing with sex toys (companies wouldn't make millions in profits if people didn't buy them!!!!) I don't see him as a 'sicko' just someone who needs help to realise there is a time and place for everything! Being a 'religious' person doesn't mean he hasn't got wants and needs, and though they are supposed to repress them it can't be easy! At least he was using toys not boys! Then I'd call him 'sick'

I think the matter is a sad one, the guy needs some help. He refers to the buliding not the faith. I do not know the circumstances but he needs help now. It is perhaps the work he does with no let up which has caused him to ctrack

trouble being they already know half of what goes on and believe with faith n pray they can be turned around rather than turning the sickos in.In my eyes that makes them worse to know they exsist and do naff all about it when they do possess morals and standards unlike these monsters xxx

Yes...celibacy is not normal...evaluations tell this as well as human nature itself. Those who profess it are lying to themselves.
