Burning books? No!! Why??!!

Books have been burned in the darkest moments of history, like during Nazi Germany.

Reading is not just a mental exercise but a joy. You can read other peoples great ideas, you can travel through wonderful stories, you can enjoy the creativity of words, you discover new facts and new ways of thinking. I can go on!

I know some people don't enjoy reading, but like anything else it is a matter of practising and choosing as first reading something that interests you.

Burning books is the worst thing I have ever imagined. Only a mindless stupid freak would do something like this. I cant imagine the pages being destroyed by flames. I cant imagine all this awesome characters being lost forever. But the one who will do something like that will never imagine what I will do to him!!!

BURNING BOOKS...
oh...the sheer horror.
a book is able to preserve knowledge and pass it on to whoever that reads it. in short, you gain experience, get entertained, receive enlightening, or simply indulge in the beautiful literature.
opening a book is like asking a question, you would, trust me, either see something in a new perspective or get your answer you have been waiting for.
additionally, you might be interesting in a book called farenheit 451, about, guess what, book-burning.

Please answer: Who is telling you that you must burn books? Books contain ideas. Why would you want to destroy other people's ideas?
