Pansy and Chrysanthemum in the Autumn, but nothing in the winter...at least nothing in zone 7 in the winter.

Depends where you live. I'm in Zone 7 (Tennessee) and have pansies in flower from autumn until the following late spring. I used to live in Zone 5 and they managed to flower a little bit during the winter, but not much.

I've had primrose flower in the cold weather, and have had some sweet william flower during late winter and early spring.

In Tennessee, pretty much all the annuals flower well into autumn, at least until Halloween, as long as they're watered, fed, and dead-headed.

In most of the States in the US nothing growns in the winter. Not all states though...We do have some warm enough for flowering. Bird of paradise will in more temperate climates ie; California, Florida.

You can get a clematis which is winter flowering. Ask at a garden centre for more details.

crocus, in january/february. and there's an autumn-blooming variety, too. it puts up its leaves in another season (can't remember which) and its flower in october/november.
