I'm a jock living in the North East of england. Upon returning from a family wedding in traditional gear I was set upon in numberous pubs getting my kilt lifted, us blokes laugh it off, however should I ever do that to a woman I may find myself somewhat unwittingly on the sex offenders register. It's just not cricket.

It's not right when you were set upon. If you ever find yourself in that situation again, make a big thing out of it by standing on the bar, bending over, lift your own kilt and saying ,"Here you are, this is what a Scotsman wears!"
I'm all excited!LOL. It must be awful being molested like that!

It's just a bit of fun, but if a girl does this to a guy he has the right to lift her skirt up in reaction. That's only fair.

My husband wears his kilt to formal occasions. When these are south of the border it can be a problem.
We were at a wedding in Cheshire a few years ago and the bride's two very posh aunties got a bit drunk and started asking my husband what he had on under his kilt.
He replied, "Nothing".
They didn't believe him and kept giggling and asking for a look. He eventually, after a lot of harrassment, lifted his kilt and showed them the lot.
I thought they were going to faint! I nearly wet my pants laughing!
I always warn people now NEVER to ask him about it.

It's a sexist double standard. Next time a girl does it, give them a taste of their own medicine, and lift their skirt up!

It's not fair, I agree. Please tell me your dangly bits weren't exposed to the North winds. There is a simple solution to all those who wish to see what is going on under a skirt or kilt and that is to wear shiny shoes. Just stand very close and look at your shoes. No touching, just peeping.

I always thought men in kilts WANTED them to be lifted. Don't pretend you're offended by it.
