They are few, but, well, they exist. What say you?

Just look at what clone-habisce and slash has to say.

And, Dellarovere, when was the last time you saw me provoking people? As you see in the answers, my question is a very legitimate one.

Leonarda, Iskender Kebap question was legitimate, too. A few Greek guys really got pissed about it and it is really funny, now, admit it.

PS: the habisce below is the fake one.

Did you notice that slash's answer below got 5 thumbs-ups and 3 thumbs-downs? Doesn't this make my question legitimate? Come on, any more who agree or disagree?

"Anatolia is under occupation, and someday soon that will end..." That's fake-habisce, the old Immortal.

Slash has ereased his answer, the coward. Just look at his new one below. Why don't you read the "isn't it obvious" answers? What is there to not understand?

If Greeks don't clean out the provokers among themselves, like we do, how is there to be understanding, for heaven's sakes?

Hi BosphorusBabe,

I looked out for those "rhetorics" but couldn't find them really. Unfortunately, many Greeks here (including me) are gradually getting sick as the section becomes a bit of a joke.

I think Greeks don't really care about claiming any Turkish land. Unfortunately, most have not been or plan to be in Turkey to start with. They do care about claiming some Turkish banks though and occasionally they buy some :) (i.e. Finansbank and more is coming on that). Thus, your claims sound too romantic to me...

Shouldn't we all collectively try to smarten this section up?

I say , in the year 2007 , Turkey belongs to Turkey and Greece belongs to Greece. That is a solid fact.

Nobody knows what will happen in the future though and the past is in the past and can not be changed.

I know you are smart enough not to get provoked by fanatics of either side, but I have read your statement and your links and still don't understand. Just blame it to my ignorance.

I am not trying to be sarcastic or anything but please enlighten me; What is your point with this question?

2007-07-18 09:44:09 · answer #3 · answered by Ipek K 7 · 4 0

Turkey belongs to homo sapiens (they are a race that inhabit the planet Terra). If any Martians ever try to invade Turkey, I am sure Greeks will run to help.

Slash (or whatever your name is), re-check recent past of Cyprus. Turkey did not 'invade' Cyprus without reason. Ask EOKA what they did to both Turkish and Greek Cypriots before July 20.

Personally, I haven't noticed such a statement, and I really wonder why you ask this question. By now we all know who the few fanatics, both sides, are, but I haven't seen any such refference from the greek side.
Will you please forward the links to us?

Edit: As a second thought, I've got to react more strongly. My sister has been offended as a Greek by some Turkish answers and their opinions about Greece, and it was me and Ipek to try to convince her that this kind of insulting "answers" or "questions" do not represent the opinion of the majority of turkish users, and make her enter your section (with some hesitation, though) again.
Most of us older users, both sides, do know each other, and we can trace who's new and who is provoking.
So generalizations of every kind rather hurt the whole good spirit we have altogether created...

Therefore, I demand to know the exact links where Greeks are supposed to claim Turkey as their property, as you claim you have noticed...

Edit: I didn't blame you about anything...But as somebody who often gets lots of insulting attacks by fanatics because of my supporting friendship and understanding between Greece and Turkey, I have the right to know who is the one to put forward such allegations, and find out if he is a provocateur or not..

Edit: I'm still waiting for the links. Me and Frank B have searched thoroughly but without any result connected to your allegations.
I expect some explanations, and I won't accept any refference to answers of a couple of fanatics we all know....
Waiting.................................................

What the hell are you talking about ? Get a life ! You take yahoo answers too seriously, how come ? after all you've been using it for chat.

Some patriots here may said that constantinoupolis is greek but it's the turkish goverment and the turkish people who celebrated the landing and "capture" of a greek island 10 years ago (for the retarded who did not understand, I'm talking about the imia).

The turkish government who never had anything to do with the sea is asking for half of the agean and you are here, bitchinn that we hurt your feelings because somebody in the internet is calling constantinoupolis and asia minor a greek land. Have you ever watched youtube ? Do you see what kind of things are being said there ? Why do you use the internet anyway ? isn't that like a sin or something for the women in the islam ? were your feretze and go cook something.

d t t

ps. asia minor is not just greek ! a big part is armenian and another part is kurdish.

It is obvious that it is not Greeks who wrote those messages. Mass report them and so will we. These are efforts to provoke both countries and cause hatred between us. No Greek person has imperialist views towards Turkey. We just want peace and we expect the same from you.

Few weeks ago, we had another comment that we do sabotage in your country, when in the islands, we send people to other places, because everything is overbooked, and if you ask for hotels, they say ''stop sales''.
But this is not the point dear..
Could you send us the link to see?Could you name a greek user who wrote it?(if it is in the program)And be sure, we ll be the first to react..Be sure, we treat with respect people in our section, and i am speaking now with respect not angry...
We dont deal with this, be sure, others deal with topics which do not concern them..
For example....a question of Iskender Kebab where there was a reference for Macedonia too...or....that on this topic we are losers...
Do you want me to remind you who has asked and answered this?
