Every few years or so I get caught up in the mundane droning aspects of life...I usually slip out of it though. So yes a prufrock a little and then a shake it off--I measure my life with coffee spoons but there have been gaps.

Very poetic and all - regrettably in case your doomsday message has greater advantageous than a literal meaning...my days are numbered contemporary coffee spoon count extensive style = 4 replace - 2 recovered in a farther room checking under the childs mattress....

This Prufock must be some uptight engineer or accountant who can't enjoy life. A tight-a-s for sure. He doesn't even know how to deal with women.
Notice the name, Prufrock. It suggests prudence and austerity (frock as in a priest's frock).
No way could I live like that, denying life and wondering about every move I make.

Fu [ k NO! I refuse to attempt to quantify something as important as life. Plus coffee gives me the shakes...
I prefer tea! And remember, tea is always tea. Even if i break the cup that it was contained in, and even it spills over the table onto the floor... its still tea lol.

Another Janis Ian fan? She is dark and depressed and I loved her when I was 17!
