i have a cricket phone without mobile web access and was wondering if i could download ringtones and put them on my phone without using the mobile web access

You can download ringtones from the Internet to your PC and then send to your phone. However, I don't use ringtones as when a phone rings in a crowded place, many people have to check if it's their phone ringing. The best tones are using your favourite MP3 song as your ring tone. With MP3, you can even personalise tones for different callers. You could have "Leader of the Gang" for your boss, "The ***** is Back" for your Mother - in Law, "D-I-V-O-R-C-E" for an ex-wife etc. etc. Try it, it's fun!

I got the same problem as yours . but finally solved . I'm downloading ringtones to my pc and then transferring the files to my phone via bluetooth.
