YES! the risk drops alot! the first trimester of a pregnancy (weeks 1-13) are the most dangerous of all the trimesters. once you have passed this dangerous time, it can be somewhat smooth sailing, until the birth (thats horrible, but its really worth all the pain) 2 out of EVERY 3 conception will sadly miscarry, and most women think they are just having another period.
Good luck, and all the best

I miscarried twice before I finally had my beautiful daughter.
My doctor had told me that it will usually happen before that period of time. Of course after this babies can be born still born. It is best to seek out medical advice about this. Don't be afraid to tell your doctor your fears. My daughter has told me that she wanted to be here so badly that is the reason I had the first two miscarriages. I haven't felt the way I did about them since.
If you are pregnant congratulations and God Bless.
Make sure you see your doctor on a regular basis and take care of yourself. Eat right, get enough sleep, etc.etc.

It's drops significantly, but the risk is still there (though very small) until the baby is viable outside of the womb.

in the second trimester the chances reduce significantly but there is always a risk, try to enjoy your pregnancy and have faith you will be fine.
