I would never date or marry a man who is controlling. Been there, done that and thankful to be out.

I think it's human nature for a woman to be subservient to a man. That's why women consciously or subconsciously prefer dominating men.

A protective boyfriend or husband shows to many woman that their man has the desire to stay with her.
This "controlling" also gives many women more self-confidence because they experience "worth".
