I'm not bothered about fame, because the price for it is so high it just ain't worth it. Rich in a material sense ain't that important to me, as I've generally been lucky in life in that I have had alot of opportunities that others might not. However I do always try and attain a spiritual richness where I can feel truly comfortable about myself and kind of spread that wellbeing onto others!

Well I can't say that I don't wish to be rich all the time. That being said, if I never become rich 'money wise', I have all the things that mean the most in life (family, friends, health and security). I know it's pretty corny but you have to be pretty thankful for what you have when a large percentage of people in the world don't even have access to the basic necessities. Still, I have to admit that being rich would make me happier because I would feel more secure and I'd love to be able to make sure my mum and siblings were always provided for and I could help a good cause.
I don't think I'd enjoy the fame thing at all. On the other hand it would be pretty cool to be recognised for contributing in some way that was worthwile.

Rich but not famous for me. Being famous means you lose your privacy, and that's one of the things I really treasure. I can be private and rich, though. I do wonder about the effect of being rich on striving, though. How would it feel to not HAVE to do something for a living? Would I still have my motivation to get out and do things? Anyway, I'm willing to give it a try...

Neither. I used to be in a band back in the 1980's and we were very popular. We played cover versions of Duran Duran, Thompson Twins,Japan, U2 etc.
We played to some pretty big crowds and although I was only 18, I was earning more money than my dad. So having had "fame" and money, I can tell you, I wouldn't want either.

I would love to be neither! Being rich will spoil me. I of course want enough money to live happily and securely but not exorbitantly rich. I also don't want to be famous because I want to live a peaceful relaxing life.
I'm just happy to be here....

I'd prefer to be rich than famous (I don't think I'd like the lack of privacy, or the expectations I may have to live up to if I had an image to maintain)

Definately rich. Fed up of having no money. Don't think i'd like to be famous though unless it was for something amazing like finding the cure for all cancer or something.

I don't want fame but i do want a fortune, with alot of money i could make myself extremely comfortable & buy any comodity i want, i would make sure family are well off & comfortable. Good friends would be rewarded. Also i would love to just do something silly like cry on a bus for egsample and reward any strangers that showed kindness.
