boat wash you can get at west marine. Personally...on my boat, I use powdered Tide with Bleach. I wet the deck, sprinkle it on, and scrub with a brush, then rinse it off. Leaves my deck clean and if I dont get it all off....it'll come off the next time it rains. It also offers me good grip under my feet after its all washed off.

On the hull, I'd use something else if I were concerned about the wax. There are wax free polishes that offer a good shine on the hull which are wipe on and wipe off. I've seen these at the boat show and also on the shelves at west marine and boater's world.

Use "BOAT ZOAP" (any marine store), it leaves a short lived fresh minty smell, cleans with a car brush, and doesn't hurt the environment, if you use bleach (an oxidizer) it will only make any rust stains worse (rust is "oxidized" metal), "Boat Zoap" won't harm anything, if it splashes into the wrong spot (wood, carpet, etc).

I use car wash soap.

How can I get a friend like you? My friends don't even help me clean my boat after they've gone out on it with me.

Boat wash or car wash. Never use dish wash it has grease cutter in it that can affect the wax job on the boat

We used Simple-Green... since any of the others would have been illegal in the California marina we lived in
