I haven't asked any questions yet, but I wouldn't give preferrential treatment to people that starred me. I'd pick the one that best answered my question. That's what the "best answer" is supposed to be, after all. Not a popularity contest.

Sometimes but its not comparable to an answer that is to my liking..
To me a star is just giving the person some consideration & respect for asking a question,so I give many stars for that very reason..My best answer decisions are personal and vary due to my many moods..fyi..=)

No, but I have to admit I give "some" preferential treatment to my contacts and their answers, especially if I now them a bit (like having chatted to them etc..).
