The drugs commonly used for date rape would not cause a fever. The most likely explaination is that you are coming down with something like a cold or the flu. Having been out drinking you are likely dehydrated as well, and the two things combined would leave you dizzy and feeling raggedy. Take something for the fever, drink a lot, and go to sleep. If you are getting ill, it won't hurt anything at all and may stave off the worst of it. It may also be you simply need some rest, some fluids and some food. And in the future, remember the drinking out rule is to either keep your drink in your hand or don't drink it at all. If a drink gets out of your sight at all, there is a chance you could be drugged. So keep the glass in hand, and only accept drinks from the bar or waitress. Never take a drink from a glass somebody else hands you. It doesn't sound as if you were drugged, but it's not something worth chancing in the future either. So take care of yourself.

As a nurse, I suggest you go to the emergency room and get checked out, better to know what may or may not have happened, then worry, about consequences. That is what the doctors and nurses are there for, besides broken bones. Next time you are out in a group, do what my nieces do, the carry their own water bottle and open it after arriving at tha gathering and it never leaves their hands, if it does, they toss it. Both were slipped the date rape drug at a party., one time.

if this is causin you concern personally i would go to the hospital even if it is just a fever. On the other hand if you have been drugged you may lead to havin some sort of panic attack which might make the situation worse

Personally, I would rather go to the hospital and find out it's "just" a fever, than to not go and try and save myself embarrassment and find out it was much worse and that it could have been less bad (sorry, bad phrasing) if you had gone in sooner.
In the future, don't take your eyes off your drink.

Bottom line, you shouldn't be asking this question on a web-based forum full of non-experts. GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!! If you think you've been drugged or had your drinks tampered with or whatever, a MEDICAL DOCTOR is the only person who's going to be able to confirm that.

This can also be interprited as a hang over or after effects from the alcohol consumption. Resting or sleeping more would help alot of it to go away.
