I had a job as an elevator operator in New York City once...on the night shift...it had harpsicord playing in it all night long...imagine Lurch of the Adamm's Family playing his favorite melodies while you were stuck in a six by six box for 8 hours...5 days a week...hehe hehe it made me what I am today!

It's pretty bad, lol.
Elevator music seriously needs a bit of a revamp. Then again I suppose it encourages you to take the stairs and therefore be a bit more healthy cus you can't stand it lol! =P

It's right up there the hold music, they both are awful. I think they should let you choose. Like if you like rock; press 1, if you like country; press 2. That's the way the way to do it.

We don't seem to get it in oz well not in queensland maybe we would not put up with rot because you are only in there for such a short time

it's tolerable ... and maybe a "marker function" of age ... like when you hear Hendrix ... or Dylan ... transcribed into muzak
kinda weird
but it's ok ... sorta like listening with mental novacaine dulling your aesthetic sensibilities ...
