What I would try if I were you is this.

Buy a U3 USB Thumb Drive. When you plug it in it will bring up another smart menu on the right hand side of computer screen and will allow you install your own programs and data on it. No traces will be left on your work computer.

Let's clarify what you are really saying:

1. Your employer's pc, which you are to use for work related business only is on the corporate network, not your personal network.
2. You want to install programs on it that are not work related.
3. Your system administrator has set up your pc without administrative rights for you. This means that you are prevented from installing the programs you want to install.
4. You do not want to ask the system administrator for permission to install these programs because you know they are not work related and you would be denied permission to install them.
5. You now want others to show you how to get around the system administrator.

Having summarized the real situation, here is what to do:

1. Spend your time at work using company approved programs to do your job.
2. Do not spend time at work playing on the pc or trying to play on the pc doing non-work related activity. You are being paid to work, not to play.
3. Your company spend substantial funds to set up the network for work related matters. The company investment is set up to enable the company to do its work and not to have it compromised by people who wish to use it for non- securre non-business related activity.
4. You are abusing your company's resources and as such are putting your job in jeoprady. You may already have been caught and it may well be a matter of time before you are discharged for this.
5. Concentate on one major activity at work - your work duties. Concentrate on one major activity off work - polishing your resume and looking for another job as you will likely need it.

As a system administrator, I usually have people who do what you did discharged. At the very least, I remove their pc access privledges totally and within a week they leave.

Leave your corporate network alone.

You can't install anything cause your network admin has not granted you local admin rights on that pc, so without local admin rights or the admin password you can't really do much.

your computer does not have administrative privileges , which means you can only do certain that doesn't make a major change ex:add/delete programs. To be able to install programs you must log into a administrator account on your computer to lift those restriction

if you dont have admin rights, you can always put portable software on a usb then place it on the desktop. The portable software doesnt have to be installed so you can do whatever whenever you want.

Talk to your IT department. There are very very good reasons for applying this type of policy.
