Area 51 is an Air Force Base in Nevada. It is one of the most highly regarded secrets of our military. They have sensors that extend miles outside the perimeter just to make sure no one is getting too close. It is where all the highly top secret aircraft are taken, the SR-71, the F-117 aka Stealth Bomber, B2 and numerous other aircraft were all there before being put into service. Until photos surfaced it was said not to exist, then it was said to be shut down. However, yes I do believe there is other life out there and we possibly have other beings aircraft and material hidden deep underground at Area 51, but all the rumors will never be proven true. Yes we have been to the moon, it would be hard to keep so many people quiet about something as big as that if it was just one giant hoax. We havent went back because there is no logical reason to go back, there is nothing there that we need, and we are not in a race, like back then, to prove anything.

You are one sorryassed skeptic. I lived through the Moon landings with sufficient proof from a radio receiver and a directional antenna at my engineering school. Turn the antenna anywhere away from the Moon and the signal was lost. Aim the antenna at the Moon and the signal carrying the astronauts voices was "bodaciously" strong. Proof enough to me.

As to why we haven't been back,.... well, Mr Moneybags, five lunar orbital missions and six Moon landings cost us 125 billion dollars (2006 dollars). Nowadays, 117 space shuttle missions ("cans of corn" to you, I'm sure) cost 135 billion dollars. Do the math. I've done it for too many other hard-heads.

Area 51 was home to the "skunk works", a black ops program working on stealth technology, and the general public had no right to know about and risk a "leak" to the Ruskies". Any belief that we've been reverse-engineering "alien technology" is pure BS. We were reverse-engineering exotic WWII German jet-propulsion and primative stealth technology, and Russian MiG's.

As for life "out there somewhere", sure. I have to believe that out of 200 billion stars in our Milky Way galaxy, there have got to be about 100 cultures scattered across the 100,000 light-year wide spiral Milky Way that are capable of the technology to master space travel. We are all just so freakin' far away from each other.

It could take a thousand years to get a message out there saying "How are you? We are fine."

And another thousand years for a message to get back to us saying, "Gee, how do you guys taste? We're getting hungry here."

Area 51 is a military research establishment. It is guarded because the stuff that goes on inside is classified. Not because it's aliens being hidden from the whole world but because it makes good sense to guard your military secrets from your enemies so they don't know what you've got before you use it against them. And guarding from your enemies also means guarding from your own people in case they reveal something they shouldn't.

As to the Moon landings, they happened but they were expensive. NASA had its funding slashed, so they couldn't afford to go back and were not given the mandate to do so after beating the Russians there.

And yes, I believe there's life out there. The universe just seems too big for us to be all there is.

Area 51 is where an alien gave us the finger and we chased him to the moon to teach him a lesson in good manners.

I totally believe they have found aliens, and no I have seen too many documentaries so I don't think we've been to the moon. But I do think there are bases on the Moon. As to what's in Area 51, I have seen sum crazy looking aircrafts and I think that's where they're keeping them. Among other things

No. the region had garnered too lots public interest. whether they have been hiding extraterrestrial beings or alien deliver's in there , why might they cover some thing in such an obtrusive place? everybody's staring at section fifty one. it particularly is a good distance too uncovered to the conventional public eye for the government to have the capacity to thoroughly cover something. If i replaced into the government attempting to cover extraterrestrial beings or alien deliver's, i might %. another unknown, distant region that no person's ever heard of, not section fifty one.
