When I was young, I was very poor and my self esteem was horrible. A classmate of mine was totally opposite, for his mother was a teacher. One day he told me that his mother said that I will truly make something out of myself one day.
I could not believe that she would say something that good about little trashy me. I still think about it to this day, and it gives me joy. Thank God for people who can see the good in us even when we cannot.

Well, this wasn't all that long ago, and I'm only 15, but it still has made an imprint on me and I'm sure I'll remember it.
As we drove up to _____ to visit some elderly relatives, we passed a bunch of farmland, fields, etc... There was an old house, standing alone in the middle of a field. My grandma said, "I wonder what stories that old house could tell."
Seems mundane, but it really made me wonder. I'm still wondering, and it's something I love to ponder and muse over.

My mom: "you're a filthy parasite..." ... ( which was horrible coming from my mom, and she meant it too...)
My grandpa: " you've got an eye for detail.." ( which was wonderful coming from a gold and silver smith...)

"you're an idiot...you won't be anything...you only **** up"
repeated words that revolve at the gray space between thoughts, as i kick up dust to move forward.
