If your Power Supply is getting real HOT
it sounds like the supply isn't big enough for the load
you may want to get one about 100w bigger than you have

also they make a nice fan that mounts in the slots of the case
just like a video card sound card or modem would
and they really work
they are however a bit noisy

I bought something from Newegg that replaces your original heatsink/fan. It is huge, and works very well. It is sort of loud (not loud enough to notice that it's on, but loud enough to notice when it stops running). It keeps your CPU temp at about 15C lower than your original. It is called a Tuniq Tower 150. Warning: This thing is freakin massive and sticks out from your motherboard by about 6-8 inches.

try getting cooled components. i just bought an nVidia 5500 GE FX graphics card for like 27 bux (used) it has a fan. but you want a cooling systam. try finding a fan that will fit your tower size.first find your tower size. (size of the PC) this will save you mony on fans that even though they fit they work to well and you will wais mony on somehting that is cooling more than it has to.

check power supply consistancy & try for cooling fan better for your own health instead of applying other method

You should buy a freezer big enough that you can stick your PC into it.
