DUE to the Patriotic Act Bush has the power to stop elections from happening (see 1st link)... With all the suspicion going around and evidence against Bush does anyone else feel like we are guaranteed to suffer another terrorist attack before we get Bush out of the White house?

(You may want to check out the rest of the article, 2nd link)
"When the President determines a catastrophic emergency has occurred, the President can take over all government functions and direct all private sector activities to ensure we will emerge from the emergency with an "enduring constitutional government."

Translated into layman's terms, when the President determines a national emergency has occurred, the President can declare to the office of the presidency powers usually assumed by dictators to direct any and all government and business activities until the emergency is declared over."

Everyone please take note of lcmcpa 's answer and then tell me that we're doing the right thing by "Fighting the war on terror".... This is an eternal war, and the longer it goes on the more we are a target... Thanks Bush.

Bush's evil acts are breeding more and more terrorists. Yes, I think we will be attacked again many more times. Bush has assured this with his illegal, immoral war on Iraq. Your scenario in something I sure Cheney and Rove are considering. Hell, they might even hire someone to stage an attack so Bush can remain on his throne.

We will be attacked many times over the coming years far, far into the future. These people rightfully hate us for what we have done to their country and their families. They will get revenge regardless of how many years it takes. Even kids not yet born will be taught to hate us and enact revenge as soon as possible.

Ever since Bush attacked Iraq, the chance for a terror attack on U.S. soil has gone up. You see, Bush cleared up Iraq and provided a breeding ground for terrorists. In fact, an intelligence report released just today claims that an increasing amount of terrorists are heading to Iraq to conviently plan an attack on the U.S. This never would have happened if Saddam still ruled Iraq. He killed any terrorist that even dreamed of entering the country that he dominated.

The real question here is would the people of America put up with a dicktater (dictator).
We have an all voluntary military. They are who we are. I don't think there would be any leaders in our military thay would do what they were told w/o thinking of the consequences.

Bottom line is, Bush might attempt to dictate but that is not how Americans think. We can be lead but not dictated.

No worriese here folks. We have all seen what kind of leade "W" is.

To answer your first question, there will probably NOT be a final attack. If you were the enemy, and seemingly everybody hated Bush, why would you turn the negative attention back on yourself by attacking America?

To answer your second point, I doubt it would happen. Interesting point you bring up, however, and definately worth the consideration.

Yup and with nuclear weapons.
you cant get any bigger than 9/11, but with suit case nukes you could.
I recently saw a discovery channel documentary on it.

small warheads that can fit in suitcases.

If the libs had hard evidence against Bush for breaking any law what so ever they would have started a trial long ago. Nice try though. I guess it's possible but so is a meteroite coming down and falling on your head. You could blame that on Bush too.

This is about natural disasters, not political disasters. Osama Bin Laden is still alive, and that's a political disaster, but Bush isn't doing anything about that threat.....so don't worry! Why should we believe he is politically motivated?
