I went there 4 years ago, but i forgot what the place was called. it was like a reserve with alot of, buffalo, and i remember the herds actually walked right next to the cars, since there were roads going through the park.

As the other readers have said, buffalo can be found in Custer State Park. It is a very large area!! You should go to the State Game Lodge in Custer State Park to find them. They will give you a map as you enter the park http://sdgfp-px.rtrk.com/Parks/CampMaps/CustArea_noscale.pdf, and if you go to the wildlife station visitor center found on the bottom righthand side of the map, they can tell you exactly where the herds are that day. Also State Game Lodge offers Buffalo Safari Jeep Tour/Chuckwagons.http://custerresorts.rtrk.com/coupon/?scid=361158&cid=85610&tc=07071918304267982&dynamic_proxy=1&primary_serv=custerresorts-px.rtrk.com&se_refer=http%253A%252F%252Fsearch.yahoo.com%252Fsearch%253B_ylt%253DA0geu_EzEKBGT1kACXNXNyoA%253Fp%253Dcuster%252Bstate%252Bgame%252Blodge%252B%2526y%253DSearch%2526fr%253Db1ie7

I grew up there and Custer State Park is correct, you can also see Buffalo grazing in a lot of fields in the northern Black Hills now as there are many ranchers raising buffalo.
