Because with a stuffy nose you also loose your sense of taste to a degree. So you don't really want to eat when you can't taste it. That's all.

<>If you mean "Why does a stuffy nose cause lack of appetite," the answer is because the sense of taste is depressed. Taste depends directly upon smell, so if you can't smell something, you really can't get a true grasp of the taste. And if you can't taste your food, you generally lose your appetite because it is unappealing.
