Why can some people see him, why cant i?

I am talkin bout a close friend that died in a house fire6 mnths ago, my brother(who nearly died in da fire) and Burk were best mates, Burk was my brother from another mother, I still hurt every day and hold back tears.2 of my friends that knew him have seen him or felt him(spirit,soul,wateva) &I beleive that, but Im so sad that I havnt,I know he would b near me but I never c or feel these things,I neva said goodbye and really miss him

The spirit world is complex and difficult to understand...I'm a Catholic and don't get into that freaky ouija board stuff but I believe the most lonely of people can see or feel the person because they want. Because they need it to fill an emptiness in their life. Best of Luck and sorry for your loss..xoxo

It's difficult to say, and I'm sure it was difficult for you to ask. My son and my wife saw my mother about 3 months after she passed away. My two daughters and my brother "wanted" to see her, but never did. Nobody can tell me why, and she never tried to talk to them, they just saw her walking down the hallway as if she was in a hurry (but not running). My son saw her twice, my wife saw her once, and my son never knew my wife had the same experience (she told me but not him).

Your friend is gone, and seeing him will not bring him back. Honor his memory and worry less about whether or not he makes another appearance...it doesn't mean he loved you any less..there are just too many variables and he may have already moved on now.

I was watching montel the other day and he had sylvia brown ( ithink thats her name) on and she was telling a mother the reason why her son visits his sister and not her is because the sister is more open to recieving him. Don't know if that helps but not everyone gets a feeling from the other side.
