I have Shaw Direct satellite, here in Canada. At the time I signed on with them, their hardware and support was IMO, better than Bell satellite TV (their competitor), and I have had no real need to leave, although Bell's DVRs are now better that Shaw satellite's currently are. Shaw Direct also has a number of no-extra charge HD channels, which are mostly 1080i, Bell's being 720p you pay extra for. The package I subscribe to is called Digital Favourites, which is basically locals plus most of the extended cable package, before the "digital only" specialty channels were added, except premium channels. Where I live, I do not have cable available at all, and only recently has my phone provider began offering IPTV, but not in particular my area. I get only two analog stations OTA. I also have FTA satellite TV set up, and can get a few hundred channels for free, but it is mostly religious and foreign language programming, with a couple of TV/Radio channels I genuinely watch and listen to. FTA is more of a hobby than anything.

I watch FOX the most. I rarely watch PBS and never watch TBN.

FOX is too biased...they all are though. I try to watch a little of all of them to get a more equal story. I mainly watch CNN though, because that's the station they have it on at the gym.

Fox, mostly because it's the channel we get the clearest, but I really like Jay Leno on NBC

Fox News tries to be fair. As for the others, well their bias really stands out.

PBS...I actually have Fox blocked because their news programs are so biased.....
the others are lesser junk..
