Is ATI Radeon X1200 any good?

Question

i was planning on a buying a toshiba laptop with the X1200 but i dont know how good it would be with games. Im not looking for maxed out stats or anything, just minimum game requirements or something decent for games like Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Call of Duty 2 and mebe Supreme Commander

o yeh its eitherly this, the Intel X3100 which i hear sucks, or a nvidia 6150 but i was hoping to get sumthing like 7400 or better

That's a comparison of most cards out in the market. the x1200 is even below the Low End Cards...

You should probably aim for 'Mid-range', or 'performance video cards', which you would find on most 14 - 15 inch notebooks

There is not much on the x3100, but i don't expect it to reach 'Mid Range'
The 6150 is under Low end as well.
The 7400 should allow you to play those games in somewhat low settings, or in mid settings risking to get horrible fps at some points.

An 8400 and above should be a good choice.

its ok. its certainly better than igp's but u will not be playing tons of games on it, but 4 wat ur doing on it it should be fine.
