1. Seattle -- has some of the European feel and beautiful scenery of SF -- without the exorbitant prices and congestion. Seattle is also a bit hippieish for my taste, but I could live with that.
2. Tie between NY and Chicago -- NY has better culture and a better dating scene, but Chicago is cleaner, cheaper, and has better neighborhoods for raising a family
