Tendulkar will obviously retire. How long will he continue? But the point is when will he retire? Will he retire by himself or will he be removed from the team? I dont think Ganguly will survive for long. Dhoni may lead the team. But I think Yuvraj may eventually be the captain.

Bright future! Gradually, 38 or thereabouts will be the normal retirement age for successful cricketers who play really well! So, Sachin has a few more years to go: so also Saurav! Dhoni will make a good captain: a well motivated wktkeeper can always do well as a captain on the field, knowing the bowlers' calibre at each stage, with each ball bowled, when he is watching from behind the stumps all the time! So also, he knows the weakness of the rival team batsmen, as he keeps wkts! And, Dhoni is a level headed cricketer of great potential!

It's hard to say anything about the future. I think we should give more importance of what's happening now. If we get our present right than future wil automatically shape up. Every player has to retire some day even if u r the CRICKET GOD(Sachin). Dhoni can become the future captain if he keeps on taking the responsibility. Ganguly is a fighter & wil never bow down to any challenge. He wil survive if he keeps on performing. Hope for the best.

I think it is not wise to judge the future of the team now.....Because there are many more challenging series ahead for them....Speaking about Sachin : He will surely play the 2011 world cup. I don't think Dhoni will be the captain because Yuvraj and Sehwag ( Even if he is in poor form) have more chance then anybody else. There is no doubt that Ganguly is a high profile player....What is the meaning that will he survive?? He will surely play great innings in future!!

tendulkar`s presence in the team is of no use.!!!
he has 2 retire himself for the betterment of the team.hope he understands this himself b4 team management kicks him out of the team!!!
dhoni will lead team india ........hope other players like sehwag, dravid, sourav&yuvraj dont come in the way........

ganguly will survive ........as long as he performs well 4 the team....if not ...........should b ticketed with tendulkar.

i think that more youngsters should come up.

Sachin will continue to play another two or more years. The same will be the case with Dravid and Ganguly. IAs far as captaincy is concerned, I feel it will be the contest between Yuvaraj Singh and Dhon. The final outcome will depend upon their attitude and performance from now on.
