Bob Uecker is my all-time favorite. He's is so hilarious in the Major League movies. He's a great broadcaster, he's in the HOF. And living in Milwaukee, I can listen to Uecker cover the games. I really like Daron Sutton as well. He used to do the broadcast (tv) for the Brewers, but now he's with the Diamondbacks. He's greatly missed. Bill Schroeder is still with the Brewers and that's good. And Brian Anderson is doing a good job his first year with the Brewers. Sutton is missed in Milwaukee, but Anderson fits in, and he'll be just fine. It'll be a sad day when Uecker steps down, hopefully that won't be for a long time.

Harry Kalas, Vin Scully, Jon Miller, John Sterling and Michael Kay and Ken "Hawk" Harrelson
Kalas is the long time voice of the Phillies [no he wasn't there for all 10,000+ losses]
Miller was a long time voice of the Orioles [who I grew up with]
along with the late Chuck Thompson
Sterling is the radio voice of the Yankees and Michael Kay is the voice on the Yes Network
Scully used to do NBC's baseball game of hte week with Joe Garagiola [who also works in the Diamondbacks broadcasting booth]
as for ones who have passed on, Chuck Thompson, Jack Buck, Harry Caray

I can only choose Vin Scully cuz he's the only legendary broadcaster I know that I can still listen 2. If I'm lucky, I can here him during the 1st three or four innings of Dodger games on KNZR-AM 1560 [Bakersfield, CA}. It's a shame I don't got cable so I can watch Dodger games & still get the Scully experience.

Vin Scully hands down. No one else comes close. Jon Miller doing Vin Scully is hilarious though, especially the Farmer John commercial Jon/Vinnie does. The person who mentioned Hawk Harrelson needs to be drug tested!! :-)

John Rooney of the Cardinals radio team. Called White Sox games for 18 years before last year. He has some of the best insight and calls in the game. And he is not annoying. I guess that is why he no longer is in Chicago, where all the announcers suck now.

Listen to Ueck during a blowout and you will never listen to another announcer again. Pure comic genius. Bill Schroeder is good on the TV side for the Brew Crew

Are you insane Dave Neiahaus he's a pathetic excuse for a broadcaster.
You should have put Ray Fosse up there way better then the crap spewed out by Neuhaus.

Ted Leitner & Jerry Coleman for the San Diego Padres. The best--great voices, great announcers, knowledgeable, good humor, good timing. I have heard broadcasters all over the country and as good as some you have named are, Leitner & Coleman are the best. No disrespect to any other announcers is intended.
