or when she says i lost dan does she mean he left her? but then later she said she felt guilty about thinking about dating again. and he did have a heart attack but, hes there the whole last episode, then he vanishes literally, its confuing. so did he die or not!??!?!?!

Yes, he dies. But the premise of the season following his heart attack is all supposed to be in roseanne's imagination: they win the lottery, dan is alive, they have all those kooky adventures. But the finale of the series explains that it was all her imagination after not being able to deal with dan's death. Heavy!

At the end of Roseanne, it's revealed that Dan had actually died when he had the heart attack, that the entire last season was Rosie's imagination (via a book she's writing) about what she wished had happened in her life instead of him dying.

The way I understood it, Dan died of a heartattack at Darlene's wedding, and Roseanne, lost in grief made up the story that unfolded in the entire series.

Yes. Dan had died the year before and her winning the lottery and being rich was just a story she had written to occupy her time, and to, in a way, keep Dan alive, etc. Something like that.
