yeah fear means control over the masses Esp when you have nothing more impressive in your resume, leading a war against the bad guys has got to carry you. If bad guys are not breathing down your neck in the form of foreign, America hating, unfamiliar culture and religion types, then the whole strategy fails.

Unfortunately- I'm afraid so. Bush's credibility is shot. And it looks like he's pulling out all the "stops" to keep our Guys in Iraq until he leaves Office in January '09. THAT way- if everything goes to "Smash" in Iraq after he's gone, he can say "I told you so..." -& blame the Democrats. If everything goes well- he can claim the credit.
