For example, I had lunch with a friend the other day and two old women were sitting at a table across from us....parts of the conversation I could hear but occassionally they would speak quietly.....I couldn't help but wonder, what were they talking about?

Yep! I am SOOO nosey. When I was younger and I'd spend the night at a friends house or just go over there to hang out and "play" I always wondered what they're family was like and what they did when I wasn't there. (If that makes sense)

Sometimes I think out loud or practice a speech or important upcoming conversation, but not talk to actual objects. If someone talks to objects and they believe that they are having an actual conversation, then they might have a problem.
