I believe something in the middle. That Chaos and Order are in a constant battle and that's why things flow back and forth in the world.

When most Look at Volcanoes and Hurricanes, they see Chaos:
I look at such things, as getting a glimpse of The Machinery.
Did You Know There are Evergreens which only seed after a
Forest Fire which we call a disaster.
There are Deserts which only Flower after a Flash Flood.
The lowliest weed can grow through Concrete The Mountain Ash or Rowan Can Grow in A Crevice of The Sheerest Steepest Rockface it can grow out of a Drystane Dyke,:
The Complexity of Life is So Beautiful, it must have a Designer.
Who definitely has a sense of humour witness the Duckbilled Platypus.
It`s obviously very well designed otherwise it would never have lasted so long.
The Day The Last Duckbilled Platypus Dies is The Day Earth will Be A Sadder Place.

I think there is an order controlling the randomness in the world? Or a randomness controlling the order in the world? Or a random order of control?

I don't believe in a random world but rather were some things are more likely than others. I think the universe was put into motion then left to probability. It's like a big experiment to see what will happen.

Hi,
I believe that there is nothing controlling our existence other than a whole bunch of events over billions of years which have created a world we have now.
Each event over the years has had a knock on effect which has caused a certain result. the main one for us i guess would be our proximity to the Sun. Any further away and it would have been too cold to sustain life, 'as we know it'; and any closer would have been too hot.
From here evolution takes its turn to run with the ball, and then we come to events of pure chance, astronomical events that have effected our world on a global scale, changing the course life through climatic disaster.
We as humans have made decisions to control or destroy (on purpose or accident) and change aspects of the world we live in, but these are very local compared to the results caused by chance events.

I believe we make the order we understand as order. That's because we can grasp the concept of randomness, and the concept of chaos. I don't think this question has any relevance outside the human world. We're the only species on earth who is incapable of living within randomness.

As much as we would like to believe, for our own sanity,we do not live in a controlled environment. The Earth is a grain of sand in a giants eye and could be wiped out at any time so get on with it ,don think too hard and take a walk through the long grass, there are some things bigger than us,you know!

There is order yes, but it does not control anything. Actually one thing can work because an other thing allows it to work. Our world is full of these rules we call the laws of nature or laws of the universe. A bird could not fly because of gravitation, but it can fly because of the air. This world is just a complex system of permissions and bans, with different priority and strength. And even if there are infinite number of these laws, there are no paradox situations. Incredible.

The bible says that "the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one" 1 John 5 v 19. So according to that there is an order controlling everything in the world. But Jesus said, "I have conquered the world" so individually we have the power to resist.

These aren't the only options.
It's obvious we don't live in a totally random world. If we did, we'd wake up one day to find things falling upwards, crocodiles climbing trees etc. There are such things as laws of nature. Even human beings are part of the natural order and behave in a species-specific way.
