The best advice I can give you from having a family with attorneys. Its not about winning in a divorce case. Its about how much money the lawyers can get out of you by filing on and on and on. Your better of just to negotiate and move on. If you dont handle it this way, you will spend a lot of money and still not get what you want. Judges see thru it all.

I know that in Southern Illinois, there is an organization called Land Of Lincoln. The office I went to is in Mt. Vernon. I am not sure if it goes all the way up to Chi-Town but it could be a start. There is also that one lawyer who had the billboard that had to get removed because it looked like you needed to leave your spouse for someone with a buff bod. I know that when I saw the slot on the Yahoo!news that it was a law firm that specializes in divorce and they have the reputation to not back down and they handle both men and women's cases. Hope this answer makes sense for you. I'm sure you can look it up on Yahoo.

i don't know of an attorney, but i can give you some advice. if he made you cry and is a total jerk, then that is the jerk you want on your side. go to the consultations. if they charge for the cosultation, don't talk to them. i worked with an attorney. total a$$wipe. but he was an awesome attorney. and trust me, i went through his files as if each case were my own. the nicer they are the further you should run.
