Because if you do you, you are prob. forgetting the Rev. war , WW1 - WW2 - Korea - NAM ( never a declared war ) .
We are winning we sit in this country and downplay what out men are doing in that fithy country. The radical Muslims are not making headway. They will loose this war- in the worst possible way.
I wish that WHITEY would just keep his mouth shut. And stop giving the illusion of loss. -- Whitey is such a fool.. He was in the 60's and he is now.

for NICK -- I use the term WHITEY to depict the passive milkey white fairies that pass them selves off as men in this country.

I ignore the anti-war propaganda that is thrown at us by the media. I have mixed feelings about being in Iraq but thats not the point, we are there now fighting the people and ideology that wants to see every American dead., and we are going to win. How much do I believe this? I leave for basic training (Army) in Sept. with a mos. of Airborn Ranger. So there, I am figuratively putting my money where my mouth is, and I dont see anyone else willing to sacrifice more to see an end to the war, because winning is the only option.

Man, you are dreaming if you think that unstability in a country, can proved somebody that he win! If the US was really winning, you would hear about 1 insurgent attack sporadically, not everyday, or 3 to 5 times a day! And you talk about terrorists making headways... What is this, terrorist objectives is not to make headways, its to demoralized the ennemy and the population, from supporting the current occupation. I guess you really need to understand military history and tactic, before commenting winning this war, that is unwinable since the US has put his feet there...

No. I don't believe the "media hype".
But I DO believe the opinions of the soldiers that have come back from fighting in this "war", as well as the ones that I know that are still over there "fighting". They tend to think that we are not doing much good, and that we have already lost.
Move along, happy guy. . .

You are dead on. I have 5 friends who just went back to Iraq, and all 5 would love to beat the hell out of some of the journalists.
They say that the situation in a few areas is bad and does not seem to be improving, but in most of Iraq, we are making great moves.
They also said that the press takes great pains to find Iraqis who oppose us, because the vast majority cheer us in the streets, offer us food and water, and truly show appreciation for our efforts there.

We won the war when we defeated the old Iraqi government and removed their leader Saddam. We are now in a occupation of someones land and they will not stop until we are off their land for the most part.

What are we going to win, anyway?
The only people that are going to really win anything or really lose anything at this point are the Iraqis....and they can't play for %$.

I FULLY agree with the first part of your question. But the whitey part doesn't play well with me unless I have misunderstood your intent. I think i like the way you think but you'll have to explain your intent.

Surrendering is not an option.
To correct your list, Korea was also a undeclared war.

No. I believe reality which dictates that the US will lose far more than it will gain out of the blunder in Iraq.
