They got stinking drunk,at least the stinking SS.As for the soldiers,they were fighting for the fuhrer,and any sign of weakness was an abomination in Hitler's eyes. Of course, he killed himself to escape punishment.
As for Parkinsons Disease,there has been debate as to whether he really had it,or was the cause of his hands shaking the result of having been injected with speed every day for 13 years.Also,there has been mention of syphilis being the reason for his obvious insanity and paranoia.

That's right; the German troops were sometimes given meth to keep them marching and fighting.

As for Hitler getting Parkinson's Disease, I'm not sure how he got it.
