she was working at Waffle house, and when i walked in, she was hugging a friend goodbye. I raised my hand and said"NEXT!". She looked at me and sneered "YOU want a hug??" I told her i have never turned one down. After the hug, she told me that was the ONLY response she could not argue with. Six Years and a son later, we are still yelling NEXT to each other.

You ready for a Jerry Springer moment?

I was dating one woman for about three years when we started having relationship trouble. My best friend (a bisexual female) was in a relationship with her significant other (who was also a bisexual female) and their relationship had been going downhill, too.

The two of us kept on trying to help the other save their relationships, but one night while we were talking and trying to figure out where things went wrong, my best friend and I discovered we were in love.

We didn't want to be jerks about it, so we tried to patch things up between our old relationships. Then, her girlfriend broke up with her and a few months later mine broke up with me. After all we did to try to save things, our mutual significant others broke up with us. We tried waiting a little while because we didn't want it to be a rebound romance, but after a couple of weeks we decided we already knew we had been in love for months. We started seeing each other.

But it gets better. Once we started seeing each other romantically instead of just friends, her father got very upset. First of all because I was a different race than her, and secondly because I was much older than she was.

So he wanted to prove to her that I was no good. He figured that if he threw her out of the house that I would show my true colors and dump her. So he threw her out of the house on a night it was pouring down rain. She showed up at my apartment. At the time I was living in a tiny one room efficiency because I had gone back to college for another degree.

When she showed up and told me she had no where else to go, shrugged and told her that it would be cramped but she was welcome to share my life. We lived in that tiny apartment together until I finished school.

The funny thing is, that her father got all the backlash from every single woman in her family for throwing her out like that. They were really upset with him! On the good side of things, you know it must be love when you can live like that for so long with no privacy and still be happy every day. Yes, we're still together, and we were happily married in Scotland just a few years ago.
