If you are taking about sexual, then no. If talking about drugs wise, then no. But then again, I've never been to Jamaica. If I travel, I'm not looking for neither.

If it's about sex, they only want one thing, p***y. If drugs, or anything, it's money.

Please be very careful.

When in Jamaica or any foreign country we drop our defences and then we are very likely to do something silly, like fall head over heels in "love" and then fall out of love just as quickly because the other person just didnt measure up at all. The we go home and BANG, get a reality check. Ihave heard so many stories just like this about different men and women from different countries around the world. The story line is nearly always the same.

I have seen it a few times before. Most times people are just being friendly or sometimes they have a particular desire in mind and tourists fall head over heels for them. The truth is this happens everywhere. I can tell you these guys arent lookling for a long stable relationship from someone on vacation from a different country. Thats a fairtale. A lot of locals and tourists alike find these situations as an exciting thrill ride but not anything serious. They say to themselves, "what am I going to lose, I probably wont see the person again."

Be careful when in these situations and be aware of what you are getting yourself into.

No. Sorry you got played. Did you really expect a relationship from someone you just met in a foreign country? It happens a lot in the islands, locals hook up with tourists for a quick fling. Next time be careful, and don't take it so seriously.

I know tons of people mainly americnas who have fallen in this trap.
Not everyone is always who they say they are and thus you just need to be careful. Im sorry that you got used - you must have been amongst the wrong type of people but let this be a lesson to you to be more careful in the future.
good luck

A married couple I know went to Jamaica for speleology.
They were met by a local authority who for travel expenses
and gift of equipment not available on the island promised
a week of his expertise. All the locations had pollution and
waste within. Touting of wonderful times never came true until after the daily muck had been washed off. The deal
had been for six days and a wake-up but my friends left Jamaica after four days of non-stop subterranean stink.

no, its foolish to go to another country, fall inlove and believe you'll find your prince/princess charming. ppl are ppl EVERY where and they have devious ways about them so I dont know why you feel the need to call out my island but oh well. i feel sorry for your situation but that was just foolish.

Sorry that happened to you here. But don't let that mar our image. Be more careful who you fall for next time.
