It does sound kind of mean, BUT I LIKE IT

I totally agree with you

Like the girl who asked, "who is Iggy Pop?" or
"who sings that M&M song?"

I could google stuff, and I do alot. But sometimes I really don't mind giving people 10 points. I figure if they took the time to really give me a good answer then I feel that once in awhile it's o.k. for me to ask a question and let someone raise their points.

to me, it's all about the knowledge you can get from someone that's been there, googling it is impersonal, to ask a question on here means you have someone answering it that has alot of knowledge that they should share.

A lot of the time people are just more comfortable here and also asking here allows you to fit your question to your exact scenario vs online where you have to hunt down information and you don't always know if it is relevant to your situation.

And Plus some people are just lazy.

Is that what you would say if one of your friends called you on the phone to ask you a question?
"Don't ask me! Ask Google!" I bet you don't have many friends do you? Is so happens that we enjoy asking each others questions, and answering. That is why we have high scores. There is happiness in giving of yourself and your time.

this is true - however, you can sometimes get a more thorough and correct answer in a few minutes using yahoo answers than you can using google but certainly not all the time

You'd be surprised at how many people don't know how to "google". What's the harm in helping out?

seriously some people are just trying to make converdation or it's far easier than looking through like 100 sites to find what you want but I don't think it's your business.
