How do you make your husband realize how important it is to answer his cell phone???

when my husband does something like not answer the phone i do it back to him next time hes trying to get a hold of me. and he gets mad and i say ---it sucks doesnt it!

I have a friend who's husband has a different ring set for each person and Friend. So he knows who is calling and now picks up the calls. Perhaps you can have a special ring.
Another friend Just calls and puts 911 as a call back number.
It means call me now this is really important.910 means some time in the next hour.
We can't really make anyone do anything, and some people just don't like to talk on the phone and find it a big interruption to their day.
If that is the case, keep the phone messages short and text a message when you can.
If you try to get ahold of him and he chooses not to answer then just go ahead and do what ever and believe me if he misses out on some great fun times with friends, it won't take to many of those before he will start to pick up the phone.

Seriously, I doubt anything would make him realize the importance of answering his cell phone. I am saying that from experience.
Currently, I dont even know where my cell phone is and it drives my boyfriend crazy because he bought it for me. I think it may be under the seat in my car.
Some people (including me) are just not into the cellular phone thing.
Now if someone told me they were going to call me in labor or when there husband died, I would tune in, but currently, its just not that important to have that cellular phone attached to me and I have restricted callers blocked on it.

Explain to your hubby that you need your sleep for safety reasons and he is being unreasonable if he won't turn the phone down. Children should always come first, so maybe you can also get some ear plugs to help you out. Basically...it looks like there is a communication problem and the two of you need to work it out or when something even more important comes along in your marriage, you are going to have even bigger problems.

He doesn't answer the phone because YOU call him to much.

If you called him less frequently (with more important questions), he'd be more likely to pick up.

I'm a guy and I know exactly how he feels. You call him 10 times a day with hundreds of silly questions that he doesn't have the time for. Make some decisions on your own and cut the number of calls in half.

All these 'important' issues that are call him about - he could care less. He doesn't want to hear it, so he doesn't pick up.

You may not like my answer, but its the truth. I do it everyday. I don't want to hear about it. It's not important to me right this minute. tell me later.

Cut your calls in half and he'll pick up more frequently.

fake a heart attack and start shaking on the floor, by then someone will call the perimedicts, go to the ER then when your husband runs into the ER to check on u, tell him you called him on his cell to tell hm that your heart didnt feel good.. lol retarded...right? call him to ask him if you can buy a big expensive ring, leave a messege saying that u will, buy it, and when your husband freaks out at how much it cost tell him to check his messeges.... ooh...lol

You should be the one person whose calls he always takes (unless he's at work etc.). Even in a meeting, my husband takes my calls and says he'll call me back. Just tell him if you are really his number one - he should answer. Put him on the spot with that.

Just remind him that someday, you or someone he loves may need to call for help and if he doesn't answer...you get the picture.
