India next tours England in the summer of 2011 and iam pretty sure these guys with ages of 38 and 39 by then certainly would have called it a day.All these four cricketeers have a special assoication with england tours, Sachin got his first hundred in England( remember the famous Boost ad), Kumble also made his debut in England in 1991 series, Ganguly and Dravid made their famous debut in Lords test in 1996.

I think its beginning of the end of their careers ,this could probably be the last tour of England, the farewell had began ?alarms bells ??

This could be more of a decisive tour for these players, performance in these tour can determine their playing days for India,a good performace and we can shelve their retirement plans for a while.Bad performance, some tough decision have to be taken,Dravid's captaincy is also at stake.

No way! This is not the last series for any of them. Sachin is fit and I am sure that he'll play the 2011 world cup. Rahul Dravid will reamain the captain and will lead to many more series wins. Ganguly has just made a comeback and he has to give his 100%. Kumble will try to reach atleast 600 wickets in Test cricket. So I think all these players have many more years left in them. Cheers!

I hate to say it, but I think the Yankees buying Texiera and finding a productive role for Hughes gives them the talent edge in the AL. I don't know anything about the NL but I assume the AL team will have the edge in the WS, unless the AL Central team somehow gets to the WS. I think baseball playoffs are the hardest to predict since two dominant pithers, or even average pitchers getting hot at the right time, can give the advantage to an otherwise inferior team. That's what I'm hoping for, anyway. Also intangibles can derail the Yankees, like if Sciosa outmanages Girardi in a tight series.

I like if it happens. It will be a good thing Indian cricket. This is the time for new players come and perform well. Then Wasim Jaffer, Dinesh Karthik, Ramesh Power and other young players will be the Indian future.

Most probably this will be the last tour for all the players mentioned by you. They should try to give their best.
