I could actually debate either side of this question extensively. The smart money is on No, for all of the obvious reasons but then again like somebody said before. I'm a nice guy, decent, intelligent, charitable and caring. Not perfect for sure but I don't go around committing crimes and I'm not violent. The world would be a better place if more people were less violent, less greedy, less prejudiced and more giving. No, I still wouldn't want everyone to be my clone but it would be nice if people were more considerate.
As far as religion and/or politics goes. There would be either if were up to me. Those are two subjects that are off the table with me and friends. If you want to start a disagreement, that'll usually do it.

i would not press the button. everyone is entitledto their own beliefs no matter what my oppinion. i couldnt imagine someone rpessing the button on me and makeing me not believe in god. i believe that god isnt mean enough to only let christians into heaven and ppl who go to hell deserve it. in school i have debates in class rooms with teachers all the time. its fun and everyone enjoys it. audience and participants alike. how could we debate if we believed all the same political things. the only political thing i think everyone should agree on is that bush sux and needs to be the second president in history to resign =]

No! How boring if everyone believed in the same thing. I think some arguing is very healthy and you might just learn something or change the way you think. Someone could give you a totally new outlook. Great question!

Nope. I'm not God. Differing views and the ability to express them are a great safeguard to society and a great way to sharpen my own thinking and views.
The communists already tried that. Only the button they used was brainwashing. That's no way to create peace--what peace is created that way is false.
And if i could press that button and every one thought like me, I think it would be like waking up in a nightmare.
Don't you?
Hey ho,

i have to admit that i would be very tempted to press that button but i would definitly not press it. why? because pressing it would directly contradict my views. i believe in freedom of religion, freedom of expression and freedom of many, many things. another reason is because we need diversity in the world. if everyone had different beliefs and political thoughts, people would think too much alike and not many new interesting ideas would be born.

religious, no, because i could condemn them all to hell or something...plus finding new religious beliefs and meshing ideas together helps make the ideal lifestyle, i believe.
political, probably. it would end cause for almost all conflicts, and would seriously aid in solving most of them. if every country had the same political views, maybe we could just sort of live all together in peace and help make our world economy sweet...i dont know

I'd like to think that i wouldn't.That kind of power would carry a heavy responsibility for one thing and for another-wouldn't be boring as hell if everyone thought or felt exactly the you do?About everything? All the time? What I would wish is that even though we are all alllowed our individual beliefs, they shouldn't be put into opposition for it's own sake.I mean live and let live and mean it for once.TL

No. I may as well obliterate the rest of the human population. I would get sick of everyone and sick of myself. People's opinions change as they exchange ideas. Even if they keep that opinion debate keeps the mind sharp and helps strengthen the bond between people. My friends are somewhat similar to me but compared to each other they are all very different. If they all thought the same way I would not have a variety of interesting conversations with them!

NO, because then there'd be no one left to argue with.
I'm not sure my beliefs are the best for everyone, just for me. Besides strife makes us appreciate the peace, right?
